We’re excited to welcome Diego Rodriguez as the newest member of the FRM Lighting & Controls Division, stepping into the role of Preconstruction Manager in our Tampa office.
Diego brings over 15 years of experience in the lighting and controls industry, with a strong background in electrical engineering. Born and raised in Colombia, he later moved to New York and earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from the City University of New York.
Before making the move to Tampa, Diego worked on a wide range of complex lighting projects, but one that stands out is the lighting controls upgrade at the United Nations Headquarters in NYC. He shared how surreal it was to see the iconic building every day during the project, and we can only imagine how exciting that must have been!
Outside the office, Diego enjoys taking in live sports events, cycling, and hitting the slopes for snowboarding getaways. He’s also a fan of historical films and proudly supports Arsenal FC—even if this season didn’t go quite as planned.
Please join us in giving Diego a warm welcome to FRM and the Sunshine State! We’re thrilled to have his experience and perspective on the team.
