Nucor brings you EMT, IMC and GRC in the full range of trade sizes. They are the only conduit manufacturer in the United States to electrogalvanize EMT and IMC, resulting in protective zinc coatings that do not flake or chip when subjected to extreme stress. Electrogalvanizing also provides uniform galvanized protection to the entire tube—even the ends of the pipe commonly subject to exposure damage. Together, these features ensure smooth bends, consistent welds, and easy installs on the job site, minimizing time and money lost to replacing faulty product. All the steel is domestically sourced and produced in the United States.

Electrunite® Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT)
Intermediate Metal Conduit (IMC)
Nucor Tubular Product’s Electrunite® Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) is designed with the user in mind. Besides being the easiest electrical conduit to bend currently available in the marketplace, proprietary features on Nucor Tubular Product’s small-diameter EMT, such as Inch-Mark® and Guide-line®, help reduce bending and measurement errors during installation. Large-diameter sizes of Nucor Tubular Product’s EMT offer an advantage to jobs where weight is a key factor in designing an electrical wiring system. Because of its thinner walls, large EMT weighs approximately 40 percent less than similar-sized Galvite® Electrical Rigid Metal Conduit-Steel (Galvite® ERMC-S). Thinner walls also provide more than 20 percent extra interior space for wiring when compared to identically sized Galvite® ERMC-S.
A great high-quality and light alternative to the heavier Galvite® Electrical Rigid Steel Conduit (ERMC-S), Nucor Tubular Product’s IMC can be utilized to install a magnetically shielded and grounded electrical wiring system quickly and cost-effectively. The IMC is manufactured for long life and provides complete physical and mechanical protection for any electrical wiring job. The finished pipe is uniform in outside diam, its electro-galvanized zinc coating resists cracking, flaking and damage even from severe bending. Provides easier, faster installs with Silverslick® protective inside diameter coating in the product reduces friction when pulling or pushing the wires and remains hard and smooth in various climate conditions. Nucor Tubular Product’s IMC is adaptable and can accommodate future wiring changes or upgrades as needed over the life of a building. Last, but not least, Nucor’s steel conduit can also be 100 percent recycled at the end of its useful life. The products are manufactured in the U.S. from domestically sourced raw materials.
